Le Rêve Roulant
Le Rêve Roulant, winner of the On y va competition sponsored by the Robert Bosch foundation,
was a travelling cinema and workshop convoy. Over three weeks, the group of French-German organisers traveled by bus, caravan, car with their screen to different communities in the Rhône-Alpes and Languedoc-Roussillon regions of Southern France.
One night and one location at a time, the team converted public spaces in small villages into dreamlike open-air cinemas. These extraordinary events were framed by a cultural program, a bar, and food, all set up according to the motto “outside and free”.
The Movie and Cultural Program
About Dreams, Utopia and Reality
Worlds away from mainstream cinema, the short film programme was an extraordinary experience for the spectators, and invited everyone to dream with Le Rêve Roulant.
Each programme also included music and performances by locals.
