Summer Sessions
Ten years on the road, ten years of freedom. For its 10th anniversary, Moviemiento invited friends, project partners, supporters, and guests to celebrate in the Funkhaus Grünau radio station. The three-day party, coined Summer Sessions, presented a cultural programme including workshops, performances, games, a theatre piece by an Egyptian partner organisation, to concerts, DJ sets – and, of course – open air cinema.

Freedom reflects many values that Moviemiento embodies: the freedom to travel, freedom of expression, a free exchange of ideas, sharing culture, free of charge in public spaces, the freedom to work together on common passions.
The anniversary programme presented short films that dealt with many aspects of this topic.

Community, Mobility, Ideas
The over-arching themes of the event were Community – referring to both our own communities. The public with whom we share projects)and the networks we build and grow. Mobility – stood for the way Moviemiento functions: physically moving around the world, we promoting mobility while forming concepts and transforming them into projects which continually evolve. Ideas – represented our dream to inspire, in others and ourselves, passion for the arts and actions.
