Together with our Portuguese and Italian partners A Faísca Voadora and Cinéma du désert, we go on a legend hunt with children from the Bela Vista neighborhood in Setúbal. The young people are between 7 and 14 years old and are bursting with energy and enthusiasm. In guided small groups, they tell Cape Verdean myths of genies in bottles, burning goat heads and the creature with the upside-down feet, and turn them into animated films.
The workshop in Portugal is another segment of the new Living Legends Europe series. The next workshop will be held in Italy in 2023.
