Send Us Your Short Film! Tour In France, Autumn 2011

In the Fall of 2011, the travelling short film festival, Moviemiento, will present short films through many interesting outdoor screenings in France. For upcoming screenings, we are looking for new, creative short films of all styles and genres.

With the themes of “Dreams”, “Utopia”, and “Reality”. Send us your short film! The Moviemiento team will put together a selected programme from all entries for this Autumn screening tour. The deadline is 31th of July 2011 though we will accept films sent in late for entry to subsequent screenings. We look forward to exciting new entries!

Guidelines Tour In France, Autumn 2011

Thematic criteria – for the travelling short film festival we welcome films on the themes of "Dreams”, “Utopia”, and “Reality". All genres are welcome: experimental, documentary, animation, fiction.

The film must not be longer than 15 minutes. Format of screenings copies: Mini-DV, DVD. The screening copies cannot be sent back. If language is important to your film and it is not shot in English you must send a document with all spoken text. We will translate this for French subtitling. If it already has French subtitles, please still send us the English text.

Moviemiento Tours

As a festival, Moviemiento continues to organize short film tours throughout Europe and around the globe. By sending us your film, you also enter it in our archive and give it the chance to be screened at tours or other events organized by Moviemiento. Of course, we will always ask for your permission before screening your film. Specific dates and information on the planned screenings will be announced both on our website and distributed through the newsletter.

Guidelines Permanent Call For Entries

For the permanent call for entries, there are no thematic criteria - you are free to send in films on any subject. However, we continue to welcome films on the themes of "travelling", "roadmovies" and "being on the road".

All genres are welcome: experimental, documentary, animation, fiction. The film must not be longer than 15 minutes. Format of screenings copies: Mini-DV, DVD. The screening copies cannot be sent back. If language is important to your film and it is not shot in English, it must have English subtitles.

Entry Form

In addition to the screening copy, please send us the filled-out and signed form, a short synopsis in English and information about the filmmaker, cast and crew.
