Moviemiento celebrates its 10th birthday from June 14-16, 2013 in Berlin!
Moviemiento Summer Sessions will be both: a birthday celebration, a festival with music and film screenings as well as a possibility to strengthen our international network and discuss new ideas for future cooperations.
For our festival you can expect a grand range of performances and screenings of all shapes and sizes, hedonistic visual displays of creativity and affection and an all around memorable-in-the-best-kind-of-way good time and a lot of music to be consumed and shared by a broad Berlin audience. All of you are invited to contribute your hidden or common extraordinary performing powers.
For our ten years anniversary our strong desire is to bring all kinds of keen people together to meet in our home town of Berlin!

CultureSITES takes off
CultureSITES is an exchange project between the theatre company Atelier El-Masrah El-Sagheer from Cairo and Moviemiento. The exchange is devoted to the topic of urban public space and how it can be used as a stage for creativity. The 20 participants (ten from Egypt and ten from Germany) will deal with the topic during two educational journeys and a theatre production. The project starts end of March with the trip of the German group to Cairo. Everybody in the team is very exited about working again with our Egypt partners (they visited us last year for our project Temporary Home) and getting to know many creative and active people in this fascinating country.
Le rêve roulant - der rollende Traum
On October 28th 2012 La Fee Nadou and Moviemiento won the 1st prize of Robert Bosch Foundation's ideas competition, with the project *Le rêve roulant - der rollende Traum*. A big Thank You to all the helpers, who supported the project!
Screening at Chiemsee
...following the hot Indian summer day, it got a little chilly in the evening.
Nevertheless, 80-100 people came to see the 3rd annual Kurzfilmfestival Übersee on the lakeside of the Chiemsee, a collaboration between the local cultural centre Freiraum and Moviemiento.
A big screen, two bars, torches and a spectacular sky full of stars turned the sailing harbour into a romantic screening location, and some people even made use of the unique chance to watch the international short film programme from their own boats.
A loud "Prosit" to the Bavarian-Prussian friendship - see you again in 2013!
